Our current vacancies

Chair of Trustees

We are seeking an exceptional new Chair to help lead the organisation through a defining and ambitious new phase. Our purpose is to identify and target the biggest challenges in ovarian cancer so that it doesn’t limit life.

With a newly defined strategy and growing national focus on women’s health, this is a pivotal moment for the charity. Over the next five years, we will focus on improving earlier diagnosis, reducing inequalities, widening access to treatment and support, and strengthening our influence across the health system.

We are looking for a Chair who can provide strategic leadership, sound judgement and constructive challenge while working in close partnership with the CEO and Board. The successful candidate will help guide organisational direction, support key stakeholder and fundraising relationships, and act as an ambassador for the charity externally.

We are particularly interested in candidates with:

  • Senior leadership and Board-level experience
  • Strong strategic and commercial judgement
  • Experience leading through growth, change or transformation
  • Credibility with senior stakeholders and external audiences
  • A collaborative and emotionally intelligent leadership style

The time commitment is approximately 1–2 days per month.

This is an opportunity to chair an ambitious organisation focused on delivering meaningful change for women affected by ovarian cancer.

Closing date: Midday, Thursday 28 May 2026
