Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month
March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and we need your help.
With only 3% of women very confident of spotting a symptom of ovarian cancer, there is a vital need to raise awareness.
Target Ovarian Cancer is working to reach more people with information about the symptoms and provide training for GPs. We need you to spread the word, and raise funds to help us improve early diagnosis.
We’re asking everyone to tell 50 people about the symptoms of ovarian cancer and raise at least £50 for Target Ovarian Cancer.
One in 50 women will develop ovarian cancer in their lifetime. By giving out 50 leaflets you could help one woman to spot the symptoms and get an earlier diagnosis.
You can add a 1950s twist to your fundraising with our vintage tea party theme. Download your party materials including invitations, posters, bunting and more here.
A recipe from Kimberley Wilson
Great British Bake Off finalist Kimberley Wilson shares one of her cake recipes here. She says: "Having worked in women's health, I understand the importance of supporting the work Target Ovarian Cancer are doing. I'm delighted to support Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month this March, and I hope you'll get baking!"
However you raise it, the money you raise will help us improve diagnosis and treatment.
