We're excited to announce that Target Ovarian Cancer is part of The Big Give Christmas Challenge 2020. That means that between 1–8 December any donations made through The Big Give will be doubled up to speed up early diagnosis.

Why do we need help?

At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic we saw a 60 per cent fall in urgent GP referrals for suspected ovarian cancer. Now more than ever, earlier diagnosis is crucial.

Put simply, the earlier a woman is diagnosed, the greater her chance of survival. But shockingly, one in five women diagnosed with ovarian cancer don’t receive any treatment at all.

Where the money will go

The money raised will deliver online training to GPs across the UK and help increase awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer so that more women are diagnosed more quickly.

I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 18 years ago. I’m here to tell my story because it was caught early. This week we have a chance to make sure this is the case for everyone.

Donations made through The Big Give are going to be doubled by our generous match donors.

We're also offering all our supporters who make a donation this week a special light on our 2020 Tree of Light.
