Playing Our Part: A musical extravaganza in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer!

The West End Sings for Target Ovarian Cancer –enjoy the music of Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and much more!

We are thrilled to announce this fantastic musical extravaganza, which has been beautifully curated by long term Target Ovarian Cancer supporter, Nadim Naaman of Phantom of the Opera fame!

Following sell out concerts in 2013 and 2014, ‘Playing Our Part’ returns to Cadogan Hall and will feature stars of some of The West End’s greatest shows, including Les Misérables, The Phantom of The Opera and Wicked, for a night of uplifting show tunes and iconic hits, with an Orchestra conducted by Adam Hoskins.

Nadim Naaman, producer, said:

I’m thrilled that we are bringing ‘Playing Our Part’ back to Cadogan Hall, having raised a combined £100,000 for Target Ovarian Cancer and Comic Relief respectively in 2013 and 2014. The West End has a unique and wonderful way of showing up to support others and the most vital of causes. A decade after we first produced these concerts, it feels very fitting to be reuniting to do our bit for such an important charity. I’m delighted that so many singers and musicians are willing to dedicate their time to raise funds for Target Ovarian Cancer, and that we can celebrate the incredible work of those employed by the charity.

Money raised from ‘Playing Our Part’ will help us achieve our mission – to improve early diagnosis of the disease through GP education and increased symptom awareness, the fund the provision of support for those affected by the disease, as well as funding vital research.

Annwen Jones OBE, Chief Executive of Target Ovarian Cancer, said:

11 women die every day in the UK from ovarian cancer. That’s 11 too many. It is possible for us to change the course of this disease, and ensure that women survive. With the funds raised from ‘Playing Our Part’, we hope to accelerate progress in diagnosis, treatment and support. We are incredibly grateful to Nadim for his support and to all of the West End stars for playing their part. We cannot wait for this spectacular event.
