Target Ovarian Cancer is passionate that all women have the opportunity to learn the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer. If you share our enthusiasm and would like to use your unique experience to educate and empower women in your local community and beyond then we have developed the ‘Let’s Talk’ programme to raising awareness to get you started.
Who is 'Let's Talk' for?
‘Let’s Talk’ is suitable for both novice and experienced awareness raisers, whether you are organising your first awareness raising activity or are looking for ideas to develop the work you have been doing so far, the booklet should help get your creative juices flowing - the possibilities are endless. Above all ‘Let’s Talk’ is designed to nurture your natural talent.
Individuals who have participated in previous events include ovarian cancer survivors, family members, friends and health professionals.

Read hints and tips from Ruth and Lindy, who have used their own experiences of ovarian cancer to generate more awareness, as well as Lynn Holmes, a gynae cancer specialist nurse who has raised awareness of symptoms in her local community. |

The 'Let's Talk' Masterclass Our newest course is for individuals who are interested in sharing their experience of ovarian cancer through radio, TV and print (newspapers, magazines etc). The Masterclass includes a tailored workshop from a professional media training agency, helping you develop your existing skills, giving you confidence to share your story with the media.
