The SuperHalfs is a series of five glorious half marathons that will take you to Lisbon, Prague, Copenhagen, Cardiff and Valencia.

Each event city is an iconic destination that makes for great experiences, great pictures and great memories for runners and their family and friends. It’s a race that starts in one city and ends in another, allowing you to combine your love of running and travel in one unforgettable experience!  You will have 36 months from your first event to complete the series - you can choose what order to complete the series.

All of the SuperHalfs events are World Athletics’ Gold Label races or are run on World Athletics (IAAF) World Championship courses. They are certified by AIMS or have been awarded a 5 Star Road Race standard by European Athletics.

Cardiff Half Marathon - 4 October 2020

Since it was founded in 2003, the Cardiff University Cardiff Half Marathon has established itself as one of the UK’s leading road races.

With over 27,500 runners this is now one of the biggest events in Europe - a huge achievement considering only 1,500 runners took part in the inaugural event. Runners will take on a course that passes the Principality Stadium, Cardiff Bay, the Civic Centre and Cardiff Castle.

Alongside the race itself is a weekend’s worth of fun, with a Festival of Running on the day before the event offering a series of fun runs in fancy dress.

Valencia Half Marathon - 25 October 2020

The Royal Spanish Athletics Federation have awarded the Valencia Half Marathon Trinidad Alfonso EDP the title of the best half marathon in Spain, and when you run this amazing race it’s easy to see why.

As well as the best, it’s also the country’s fastest half marathon, with 10 people finishing in under 60 minutes at the 2019 event. The city centre course winds its way through the busy streets of Valencia, as well as the Maritime Quarter. The route is constantly tweaked to make sure it takes in as much of the authentic city experience as possible, as well as removing some tighter bends to allow for faster finishing times.

Lisbon Half Marathon - 22 March 2021

35,000 runners flock to Portugal’s capital every year for the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon and Vodafone 10k, creating a festival of sport and making this Portugal’s biggest running event.

The course follows the shores of the River Tagus, with an unforgettable start crossing the impressive 25 de Abril bridge and a finish overlooked by the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos monument. The race attracts athletes from all walks of life and at a range of ability levels, from elites to first time runners.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2020, the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon promises runners a great chance at a PB, with a course that has twice played host to the half marathon world record, in 2000 and 2018.

Prague Half Marathon - 28 March 2021

The Sportisimo Prague Half Marathon is an unforgettable race for more reasons than one. Stunning scenery awaits you at every twist and turn of the course, including the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, the National Theatre, Vyšehrad Castle and the Rudolfinum Concert Hall.

The event’s motto is ‘ALL RUNNERS ARE BEAUTIFUL’ and that is reflected in the varied field of runners who take part every year. Local schoolchildren rub shoulders with the world’s fastest distance runners, who set records over the flat and fast course.

The Copenhagen Half Marathon is a race that’s known around the world for its world record course and high quality elite field. Although only established in 2015, it has quickly become one of Europe’s must-run races.

This is not just a race for elites though. Runners will enjoy the race of their life, running along the event’s flat, wide and traffic-free course. The route itself almost seems like it was planned as a sightseeing tour of the city, covering many of Copenhagen’s most famous sights. Along the way you’ll see The Old Stock Exchange, The Parliament Christiansborg, The Marble Church and The Black Diamant.
