  • Meet and chat with other women who have had a diagnosis of ovarian cancer
  • Attend a choice of  workshops and explore different (and sometimes new) ways of living well
  • Hear from a panel of local clinicians and ask them any questions you may have.

You can book your place using the form below or by contacting the Supportive Services team on 020 7923 5475. You can also send them an email to ask any questions you might have about the event.

We're looking forward to seeing you there.

Please tell us more about yourself so we can make sure that our communications are relevant to you:

You are welcome to bring one guest to support you on the day. Places are limited and women with ovarian cancer will have priority.

Special requirements

Please tell us about any additional requirements that you or your guests (if applicable) have for the event. Eg eyesight, hearing or mobility concerns.

We are keen to help women share their stories and experiences, including recording informal videos and working with the media both during and after the event. Please let us know whether you would be happy to take part in this.

Workshop selection

You will be able to attend two workshops during the event. The workshops at this event are:

Sex and intimacy

This workshop will offer a safe and supportive environment to discuss feelings around altered body image, pain and discomfort and loss of sexual desire. There will be opportunity to learn about new approaches and a chance to explore products that may be helpful when first beginning to reengage with sex and intimacy. Please note that this workshop will be relevant to all women, whether they are single or in a relationship, and is only for women who have had a diagnosis of ovarian cancer; guests are invited to join another workshop if there is room or have a cup of tea in the communal areas.

Craft and chat

Take some time out to chat to others while learning some new craft skills. In this fun and informal workshop, run by Go Girls! support group, you will get the chance to chat to other attendees and try something new. No experience of arts or crafts required and all materials will be provided.

Emotional wellbeing

This session offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding of stress and your awareness of how it can affect your physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. With reference to psychological frameworks of stress, this workshop will offer practical and accessible techniques to help to manage anxiety to regain a sense of balance, confidence and wellbeing. You will have the chance to enjoy some simple relaxation techniques and take part in a conversation about how best to cope with the emotions that often come with a cancer diagnosis.
