Volunteer

Our volunteers are fundamental in helping us raise funds and awareness. Find out how you can get involved and help women with ovarian cancer!

We couldn't continue our work without our committed volunteers, who give up their time to help us raise funds and awareness.

I lost my mum suddenly to ovarian cancer in 2015. She passed away six weeks after her diagnosis, and it tore our family apart. I decided I had to turn this awful sadness into something positive. Being a volunteer for such a great charity in mum's memory has helped me get through these last four years, so thank you Target Ovarian Cancer for welcoming me in when I needed you.

From joining the Team Target cheer squad to volunteering at one of our events, or helping us with an organised collection, find a role that suits you.

Team Target cheer squad

We need enthusiastic volunteers to cheer on our amazing runners at various events. You'll help to create a great atmosphere and give them the boost they need to cross the finish line smiling!

As part of the official Team Target cheer squad, you'll be placed on the route along with other volunteers, supporters and Target Ovarian Cancer staff. You'll get a t-shirt and cheering materials, and will be able to meet our fantastic team of runners and help celebrate their success.

Find a date and location that suits you:

  • London Landmarks Half Marathon, Sunday 7 April 2024
  • The TCS London Marathon, Sunday 21 April 2024

Sign up to join the Team Target cheer squad, and a member of the fundraising team will be in touch with more information.
