Health information you can trust

We’re proud to have been awarded the Patient Information Forum (PIF) TICK

With so much health information online, we know that it can sometimes feel overwhelming and understand that it’s so important to trust what you read; which is why at Target Ovarian Cancer we’re committed to providing high quality, evidence-based information.

We are proud to share that we have worked with Patient Information Forum (PIF) to become a ‘trusted information creator’ and have been awarded the PIF TICK. This is only assessed quality mark for print and online health and care information. You’ll find the PIF TICK here on our website and in future, across all our printed materials too, to show that you can trust us.

We are thrilled to welcome Target Ovarian Cancer to our ever-growing community of accredited PIF TICK members. Accurate, accessible, evidence-based information is key to increasing patient empowerment and improving health outcomes.

Our health information is available online and in print. This includes our range of free guides which offer advice, practical information, and emotional support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer. You can find out about our guides, mini guides, leaflets and more.

Gaining the PIF TICK shows that we have a strong process for developing our health information resources. We know that with so much information online it can be difficult to know what to trust. This quality mark is a quick and easy way for people to be assured that our information is reliable and trustworthy.
