We want to transform the futures of more than 25,000 women in the UK who are living with ovarian cancer, and thousands more who are yet to be diagnosed. It's time to TAKE OVAR.

And we can’t do it without you.

One of the ways our campaign is spreading across the UK is by taking over different places and spaces. Together with supporters like you, we’ve already taken over places like the Olympic Park and the Houses of Parliament. Last week it was Brighton's turn to join the TAKE OVAR as we held one of our support events there - Being Together Brighton.

Seventy five people came along to the Grand Hotel on Brighton's seafront to experience one of our Being Together days, where women can meet others and get practical and emotional support. Workshops on sex and relationships after ovarian cancer, relaxation and nutrition all featured on the agenda, as well as addresses from Royal Sussex Hospital oncologists and surgeons. Here are some highlights from the day:

Being Together days the perfect opportunity to meet other women and talk about your experiences. Ovarian cancer can be isolating, and we want better support for women.

A chance to know more about nutrition in our workshop, with tastings of cucumber and mint infused water, a green power smoothie, and cocoa energy bites.

People across the UK are getting involved to show their support. Now we have higher ambitions, and with your help, we can do even more.
