Dozens of women marched on Westminster last week to TAKE OVAR the Houses of Parliament. At our event we heard from Steve Brine, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Public Health and Primary Care, who committed his support for women with ovarian cancer and spoke about the importance of quality of life during and after treatment.

We also heard from Helen, one of the fantastic models in our powerful new TAKE OVAR campaign. She shared the story of her diagnosis of ovarian cancer and highlighted the urgent need to raise awareness and to fund more research and clinical trials to find new treatments.

It was wonderful to see MPs from across the UK turn up to show their support. Thank you to Sharon Hodgson MP for hosting, and to everyone who came and made it such a powerful and successful event.
