Target Ovarian Cancer is delighted to announce its third Ask the Experts Conference. This will be held at the University of Reading on 13 September 2018 and you can book your place now.

This free conference is open to women with ovarian cancer, their friends and families from all across the UK and will be the largest event of its kind.

At a time when there are so many exciting developments into ovarian cancer diagnosis and treatment, we are proud to be able to connect those affected by ovarian cancer with the UK’s leading clinicians. The event will enable and empower all attendees to hear about the latest research from clinicians, doctors, surgeons and researchers. Crucially, attendees will have the opportunity to ask their questions to the panel of experts.

We are thrilled that Dr Rebecca Kristeleit, Consultant Medical Oncologist and Clinical Senior Lecturer, will co-chair the event alongside Annwen Jones, Target Ovarian Cancer’s Chief Executive. In addition, the day will feature presentations from the UK’s leading health professionals in:

  • screening, risk and earlier diagnosis
  • advances in treatment and surgeryAnnwen-Jones-Chief-executive-Target-Ovarian-Cancer-small
  • research and clinical trials

Co-chair Annwen Jones said, “Target Ovarian Cancer is delighted to announce our third national Ask the Experts Conference. This flagship event unites the UK’s leading clinicians with people who are directly affected by ovarian cancer – women, their families and friends – for updates on the latest developments in ovarian cancer. We aim to give a greater understanding of diagnosis and treatment and to empower women to ask questions not only of the experts on the day, but also of their own clinical team.”
