In these unprecedented times, the need to raise awareness and improve early diagnosis of ovarian cancer continues. Our ‘It’s time to TAKE OVAR’ campaign, which is calling for UK governments to transform early diagnosis, is still running.

Despite everything going on right now, it's important that we continue working hard to ensure we're ready for action when the time is right. We will make sure the voices of women with ovarian cancer are heard and that they get the early diagnosis they deserve.

Call to action

Over 13,000 of you (and counting!) have signed our call to action demanding early diagnosis. This is incredible and once this situation has passed, we will be handing in the call to action to the government. That’s why we still need as many of you as possible to keep getting involved as the more of us that add our names, the stronger our voice will be.

You can add your name below and if you’ve already done so, please share the call to action as widely as you can on social media.

Emailing your local representatives

Thousands of you, from every corner of the UK, have emailed your local representatives about earlier diagnosis of ovarian cancer. Even with the situation we find ourselves in, it’s vital we continue letting politicians know how important it is that every woman with ovarian cancer is diagnosed early. So please can you send them an email asking they be ready to act on early diagnosis?

Who you should contact will depend on where you live in the UK. Please select the correct button, and it will take you to the next page.

Teal Heroes

As secretariat of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Ovarian Cancer (APPG), in early March we hosted our annual Teal Heroes event in at parliament to mark Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. It was fantastic to see so many parliamentarians raising awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer. Here are some of our favourite photos from the day!
