COPES – Essex gynae cancer support

Gynaecological cancer support group meets between 10am and 1pm at the Nightingale Centre, Southend.

This gynaecological cancer support group meets on the first Saturday of every month between 10am and 1pm.

The group welcomes all women affected by gynaecological cancers, including ovarian cancer.  You may have been recently diagnosed, undergoing treatment or have finished treatment. It gives an opportunity to meet other people who may share a similar experience.

There are informal information sessions, guest speakers, support, information and fundraising opportunities. Free complementary therapy sessions are available and a qualified nurse will be available at every meeting to offer information.

Just turn up. You don't need to bring anything and entrance is free.

If you are nervous about attending or just want to speak to someone before coming along, please get in touch with Rachel Keenan, Clinical Nurse Specialist on 01702 435 555 ext 6464 or send COPES an email. You can also read more about the support group and COPES on their website.
