Support groups
Support groups give you the chance to talk to others who understand what cancer is all about. Some groups arrange talks from professionals, others arrange lunches or outings to boost people’s spirits. Often groups are general, however your nurse may run a group specifically for women with gynaecological cancers. Please note: these groups are not run by Target Ovarian Cancer.

Cancer centres
Many hospitals offering cancer treatment will have either their own cancer support centre or a charity-run one on-site or close to the hospital. These centres can be a great source of comfort for many people and may offer support services. Macmillan information and support centres also offer free, confidential information and support nationwide.
