Our impact

Learn about the life-saving work we do, what we've achieved and how we invest in the future.

Since 2008 we've worked across all four nations of the UK to transform the lives of those with ovarian cancer, by educating people about the symptoms of ovarian cancer, training GPs and funding life-saving research. We continue to make a difference through our campaigns, our support services and the information we provide those with a diagnosis and their families when they need us most.

Our impact in the community

We've made a huge impact in the ovarian cancer community. To date:

  • over 16,000 UK GPs have completed our training on ovarian cancer.
  • we've funded over £1.5m in ovarian cancer research projects across the UK.
  • our campaign to demand earlier diagnosis reached 14,000 signatures, contributing to NHS England's first-ever nationwide awareness campaign which included ovarian cancer symptoms.
  • over 15,000 people use our award-winning ovarian cancer information every month.
