Target Ovarian Cancer staff

Information and Support Manager

We are looking for an Information and Support Manager to lead the development and provision of our digital and printed information for women who have had a diagnosis of ovarian cancer and their family and friends. This role also oversees our peer-to-peer support programme, including our online programme and six support events around the UK each year.

This is an exciting time at Target Ovarian Cancer. The services we provide to women with ovarian cancer are growing and this role will play a vital part in delivering existing and new programmes. We are looking for a true all-rounder who can manage exciting development projects as well as take on day-to-day responsibility for some of our information and support activities.

To succeed in this role you will need experience of delivering high-quality information and digital content and working directly with members of the public. Beyond this, we are open minded about the experience you have, but the important thing is that you have the ability to learn, adapt to new responsibilities, and respond to the needs of women affected by ovarian cancer.

To apply send a two-side CV and separate covering letter detailing why you are interested and how your skill set meets the requirements of the role to jobs@targetovariancancer.org.uk, addressed to Lizzy Rodgers, Head of Services, with the job title in the subject line. Please also email the equal opportunities monitoring form separately to equalities@targetovariancancer.org.uk.

Closing date: 11pm Thursday 1 August 2019

First-round interviews: Wednesday 7 August 2019
