Here you’ll find straightforward practical and emotional support designed just for women with ovarian cancer, their families and friends. During this worrying time we’re concentrating on one thing: being here for you, anytime you need us.
Our digital events
As we cannot meet in person, we are working hard to reach out and provide digital support in place of our support events. We have the following events scheduled:
Living with Fatigue - online session with Mara Sheldon (Occupational Therapist)
Relationships and intimacy in uncertain times - online session with Lynn Buckley (Psycho-sexual therapist and Clinical Nurse Specialist)
Yoga and relaxation sessions
Ask the experts - online Q&A with Professor Richard Edmondson (Oncologist and ovarian cancer researcher)
Ovarian cancer can be a very isolating disease. Our nurses are here to answer any questions you have about the current situation, or for a chat if you’re feeling lonely.
In Touch Facebook community
Hundreds of women with ovarian cancer are already part of our private group on Facebook. Come and meet them. In the next few weeks we’ll be running Q&A sessions with doctors and nurses too.
Straightforward emotional and practical advice from one of the biggest libraries of ovarian cancer guides available.
Latest info about coronavirus
We’re keeping up to date with all the latest guidance from the government and the NHS.
Wellbeing during the pandemic
In the current situation where coronavirus has dramatically changed the way we all live our lives it is understandable that many members of our community will be feeling more anxious, stressed or frightened at these times. Watch nurse adviser Rachel address some questions we have received about how to care for your emotional wellbeing.
